Axim X50V Betaplayer 2700g plugin

The author of Betaplayer has released a new plugin that utilizes the built in mpeg4 decoder on the 2700g graphics chip on the X50v.. The playback speed and quality of video with this plugin is amazing.. Benchmarks range anywhere from 140% to 190%.. this is with graphics files in excess of 4Mbps..

Just basic question:

I'd like to have decent DiVx file to play full screen on the X50v (BetaPlayer). PocketDiVxEncoder offers profiles for normal QVGA (iPaq 4150 icon) and VGA (Toshiba e800 icon). I assume the VGA option here is for real VGA 640x480 mode?

Is there an optimal option for SE_VGA (X50v)? Since the different in size of the output file for the 2 above options is very big.

Same question for WMP10, I use Windows Movie Maker to produce WMV files. My previous movie files show very small display. What would be the right profile?

If you're using betaplayer, it will automatically expand whatever video source you have to fill the entire screen, whether it's 320x240 video or 640x480 video..

As for the optimal encoding profile, that is up to you wether you want quality or size as the main criteria..

Don't know about WMV encoding..
