View Full Version : How do you remove program logos, after you have uninstalled?

Using 'Remove Programs' I have deleted some software.

Trouble is the logo is still present when viewing 'Programs'.

The software has been removed and when you click the deleted file logo I get the error message 'Cannot find etc'.

Is there an easy way to remove the logo, I've tried a soft reset but I still get a link.

Either browse your way to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs via File Explorer and delete it, or use software like DinarSoft MemMaid to clean up.

A hard reset will fix this right up!

But seriously, you can use the File Explorer that comes with every PocketPC and go to the proper directory (for example \Program Files) and click and hold on the link you want to remove and select 'Delete' from the menu that appears. The shortcut willl then be forever gone.
