Do not know if it is just me, but I have problems with the version of Worldmate that comes with the Hp415X.
Everytime that I have to rebuild (install software) my unit after a OS upgrade, or a hard reset, Worldmate gives me the same problem. It refuses to sync.
Through many efforts of trial and error I have discovered what works for me.
1) Remove all traces of World Mate and Active Sync from my desktop.
2) Reinstall Active Sync and perform the initial sync.
3) Re-Boot Computer
4) Install Worldmate (desktop and PPC)
5) Re-Boot Computer
6) It works!
If I try to install anything before Worldmate, the program is there but the only thing that can sync are currency rates. (manual not auto). If fact looking at Activesync options, Worldmate is there, but no checkbox to turn the sync on or off.
Has anyone else expereinced this or am I doing something wrong. Please advise.
PS: One of the main reasons why I am write this is so I do not forget the next time I have to go thru this.
