'Files' keeps syncing like it has never synced before.....

The 'files' part of Activesync keeps syncing like it has never synced before. I keep changing the 'rules', but it keeps doing it. Any suggestions?

I need more information. Dou sync to two PC's? Did you recently have a hard reset and had to setup a partnership all over again? I know that I occasionally get myself into that loop after a hard reset and setting up two PC's to sync to. It will keep thinking the PDA has all new data in it and will keep refreshing everything and also having unresolved files issues. Sometimes I can only get out of the loop by deleting all partnerships on both PC's and starting over. If you also get the problem of not being able to re-use the PDA name that you just used before, sometimes ActiveSync fails to delete the data directory by that name and will tell you the name is already in use, when you know good and well that it isn't. That directory is under -

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURLOGINID\Application Data\Microsoft\Activesync\profiles\......
