Sandisk SD 256Mb+Wifi in Reader?

Hi All!

A question to those of you that own a Sandisk SD 256Mb+Wifi card.

I've tried to read this in my Sandisk 8 in 1 reader but it does not like it at all. Just keeps flashing back and forth.

Probally a long shot, but has anyone been able to read the SDIO card in a PC based reader?

You'd need drivers to get the PC to recognise it. I don't have one so I can't try this out for you. Bear in mind that it does depend on the card reader as well. Some card readers read certain cards, while some don't.

The card was designed for the Pocket PC in mind, so getting it to function properly on your PC may be a task.

If all you're looking to do is to add Wi-Fi functionality to your computer, I think it's better to sacrifice a bit of dough and just purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter. ;)

Just hoping to make use of the Sandisk USB reader for faster dumps of data to the card. :)
