Is there a .exe file on the PPC that can make the PPC go to the 'Today' screen? I use Pocket Breeze and would like to assign a couple of other buttons to lead to 'Today' to spread out button wear. Call me paranoid. 8O (The native 'Button' settings disallows more than one button for the same function so I'm using 'Mort Buttons'.)

Spread out the button wear? Yes, you're paranoid. :-) You'll find that Pocket PC hardware, barring damage, will last much longer than the device will be useful. ;-)

(to answer your question, yes, I think there is a file you can trigger, but I don't have a device in front of me at the moment to confirm - try looking in the /windows/ folder using file explorer)

Thanks Jason, I have been looking using Resco File Explorer and unless I'm overlooking there's nothing that stands out as a command pointing to Today. I'm only marginally paranoid though; there's no aluminum foil around my head to keep the aliens from sending me signals. 8O A relative of mine lost an iPAQ 39xx due to the Power button failing just after warranty expiration.

Actually I don't believe there is a distinct file that launches the Today screen. I believe it is a call in the overall OS GUI. I thought I saw a small app that someone wrote that would take you to the Today screen when it was run, but I can't locate it. That's what it would have to be though, I believe, a small app that takes you to Today, so that you can assign a button to it or create a shortcut to it. Only other option is to find a button mapper that supports going to Today, and lets you assign it multiple times. I'm sure that exists.
