I dont know, but I have done some searching and cant seem to find the answer to my question. I think part of it might have to do with needing to update my HP software....maybe?? Sorry, im kinda a newb to the PPC world.

I have an HP Ipaq 4150, which I love. But, do I need to update the software to be able to use Landscape mode? Specifically, in IE, or another browser. Browsing the web for me, especially checking email on my web based mail, sucks! Would help a lot in Landscape mode.

Thanks all in advance for your help. Its much appreciated. This site is AWSOME!

You can use Nyditot Virtual Display... this can let you change your resolution and orientation.

However, WM2003 was never really designed to handle landscape all that well, yet if you want to look at landscape, I'd focus on either a 320x240 res, or a 640x480 res. Anything in between that look hideous as the display is spread out unevenly across the pixels. With VGA (640x480), you will have four pixels merged onto the one physical pixel - so it isn't as uneven as something like 480x320 (where the display is spread across half pixels). However, this can make the reading of text difficult. So IMO, I'd stick with 320x240 on your QVGA screen. But be prepared as some applications and some functions in WM2003 do not support this orientation.

Otherwise, I believe the Thunderhawk browser allows you to browse in landscape mode.

I dont think I have WM2003. The back of the PPC says "Pocket PC 2003 Prem" whatever that means.

And I only want landscape orientation in a program used for web browsing. Is that option possible?

Just as a side note, WM2003 = Windows Mobile 2003, which is Pocket PC 2003 Premium. :P
