i'm using moneysync and money 2005 currently. it works no problem w/ your accounts (but that's all it seems to sync)... i'm trying to figure out if there is a way to sync money 2005's "bills and deposits" section w/ cash organizer. not sure if it's possible - anyone know before i ask the cash organizer folks??

it does sync your cash organizer "projects" - i've recently discovered.

i got word back from cash org support that they are planning on updating moneysync here shortly to sync w/ ms money's bills (scheduled and otherwise) section. FYI.

ps anyone know if there is a cash organizer forum somewhere?

i'm basically talking to myself here but i'm continuing to post to this thread in case anyone goes looking for this info in the future (via a search).

i got this from them today:

MoneySync does not synchronize:

* Scheduled transactions;
* Investment accounts - Cash Organizer does not support that feature, we will start developing it as soon as version 2005 is released;
* Budget - MS Money offers simple category limits, with Cash Organizer you can create a real budget;
* MS Money supports only one level of subcategories/subprojects (no limit in Cash Organizer) and does not support currency exchange rate history.

additionally they mentioned that cash organizer 2005 will be out before too long (didn't say when), and that the next version of moneysync will add the ability to sync scheduled bills, etc.

Did you get any response regarding a Cash Organizer forum?

nope. i'm still holding out hope that there is one because i'd love to chat it up with people who use the software (and possibly w/ money 2005).

No - I'm excited too. Cash Organizer is one application I cannot do without, and as it gets better, it gets more essential!

have their releases been major upgrades in the past (i just started using it a couple of months ago). i absolutely cannot wait to be able to sync my bills section w/ cash organizer and money - then it will be complete. LOVE this app.
