Not Funny :bad-words: But probably true. I even went to see on the Dell order site what the current est ship date would be. It was before mine. I'm tempted to order another and cancel the original when the second one ships.

I ordered one early yesterday morning, and it's currently "In Production".

My estimated ship date says Nov 16. Hopefully that's a bit pessimistic.

I ordered on Oct 12 and it finally shipped today. I ordered one this morning before my old order shipped and they told me it could possibly be marked shipped today!

My rep (without me asking) placed a second order for me. The second one looked like it would be shipped sooner (except for the extended battery which will ship separately), so he cancelled the original. The 2nd order date was 11/04, and the ship date for that order is 11/14. As opposed to my 10/13 order that still had a ship date of 11/18.

Yes, I am going through the same delivery incoherence-my delivery was originally scheduled 11/24, now is moved to 11/25 to 12/1 while new orders on web site are scheduled to ship 11/15?
I asked the inevitable overseas customer service person what gives - his solution was if I liked the delivery better on the website, I should cancel my current one and reorder. Told him I did not want to do that.
All I could get from him was a case number for his request to expedite and was told I would get an email on it "soon". No other solution volunteered by Dell. :cry: :roll:
If Dell gives a hoot, they need to ship in order of receipt of order, not post an artifical delivery date to get more orders.

Well okay, an update. No email from Dell but in rechecking status of my x50v, it now says it shipped today and is in transit to local carrier with 4-5 day delivery.
I guess if you had previously ordered unless you complain you will get it whenever, apparently after people ordering currently from the website.
Glad to see it shipped but very confused. :roll:
