hello
I tried SE_VGA on my 4700. Looks good. Some apps do not handle it well, but generally OK.
The major problem is that the Soft Input Panel (SIP) displays so small that it is unusable. How do people get around this?
Thanks

A lot of stuff is unusably small with SE_VGA. I really don't use it much for that reason alone. It could be nice for web browsing, but even that's a stretch.
Try using Transcriber (or Calligrapher) though. That should let you still use the entire screen for input.

The only text-input solution that works in "real-VGA" mode is the Resco Keyboard. It expands to fill the entire text area whether you're in standard or VGA mode with SE_VGA. Everything else is just too small to be useful, (Block Recognizer, the standard keyboard, Fitaly, etc.)
