The Toshiba text to speech looks pretty interesting. Anyone know where this can had?? Perhaps a trial version or anything?

It's bundled with the Toshiba Pocket PCs. I don't think it is available as a separate download.
But from what I've heard, it's not 100% perfect anyway. :D

I definitely agree.
It has a mail function to read your emails which is great if you use the standard inbox. I personally use WebIs Mail. So, no go there for me. Also, it is limited to plain text files. No Word, or even PocketWord docs. I also believe that it is limited to the size of the text file also.
I will admit that I have not explored the Text-to-Speech program. I since uninstalled both the Toshiba Voice Command and Text to Speech programs. I have since gone to Microsoft's Voice Command and like it better.
I am thinking about re-installing the Text to Speech and explore it further.

There's a text to speech application build into TranCreative's WordBook, seems to be of decent quality and it should be able to acces other applications text but I tried it with WordBook, SoftMaker TextMaker, GowerPoint uBook & Proporta TomeRaider 3 and it could not acces the text in uBook & TomeRaider.
