I just got my own copy of Visual Studio .NET 2003. Is there anything else (software-wise, etc.) that I need to get started in developing mobile apps?

And what's the deal with Visual Studio .NET 2005? Will that be available soon? Has Microsoft mentioned what the primary differences will/might be between the two versions?

MS have a Pocket PC 2003 SDK that you may be interested in.

You may be interested in checking out the VS2005 Beta page here. (http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/) It keeps you well informed on all the latest builds and what there is to know about the new version.
