To be sure we're all on the same page, I'm talking about this keyboard:

http://hpshopping.speedera.net/www.shopping.hp.com/shopping/images/products/fa162a_400.jpg

1) Can the buttons be used in games? (any games)
2) What hotkeys are there (the blue parts are too small, i can't see what features the keyboard offers)
3) Do the keys light up?
4) How easy is it to type? How fast can you type?
5) When you plug it in, is it recognized automatically? Do you need to turn off/reset the unit each time to plug/unplug it? Do you have to do something with software to enable it?

Thanks,

Hi,
I have the keyboard you mentioned and like it a lot. The keys don't light up but it's considerably faster than tapping or scribbling on the screen with the stylus.
Mine seems to work just fine if the unit's already on and attach it.
I don't really play games on it so I couldn't tell you if it would work or not, although I suspect not. It has shortcuts on the top for calendar, contacts, email, and iPAQ task manager.
The only shortcut I am aware of is instead of having to close programs through the task manager or WisBar, you can simply hit "Esc".
(actually, on this thing, it's the orange Fn button and Ctrl/Esc.
