I played with the new ipod and one of the details really strikes me is the audio out. Not only the iPod has the normal audio 3.5mm output located on the top but the iPod can send sound to its bottom connectors (the same for sync & charge) as well. This makes the design really sleek especially for the accessories (external speaker, docking, etc.). I was drooling with the variety of ipod accessories...

I am amazed that on the PocketPC side, no vendor offers this?

I would imagine how it would be even to have the connectors located in the back the device (near to the bottom) and of course, the connectors carry audio, data, and power. So we can just snap the device in its cradle instead of dropping in. This woudlmake my car GPS installation really clean. The cradle can be relatively flat and can be incorporate to the dashboard...

And since we are at it..Why not incorporate a FM transmitter as available on some tiny MP3 players..

Just hoping!
