Block Recognizer is an input method that likens itself to Graffiti from Palm. I find it a lot harder to use than Letter Recognizer as the latter input method tends to follow the normal style of writing a lot better.

Letter Recognizer mimics Jot from CIC, which IMO, is easier to use if you are well adapted to normal writing styles. Block Recognizer bases its input recognition more on a "single-stroke" mechanism, as opposed to Letter Recognizer which can recognise multiple strokes. Letter Recognizer helps if you write letters with accents on them too.

If you're new to all this, you would probably prefer Letter Recognizer.
