The listed price is now A$487.00 for X30 high, was A$600 + before.
I assume this is in preperation for launching X50 units on October 28th.
October 28th :?:
I was given the date be our Dell sales rep a few weeks ago.

And free delivery this month too! ;)
With that price, I see no incentive to be purchasing any of the HP iPAQ rx3000 series devices which are almost double that price in Australia at the moment!
More bang for your buck is what I say! :P

I bought mine for $442. Added a spare AC adapter, a spare 1800mAH battery and screen protector (these are surprisingly good!) and all ended up paying AU$545.
Super bargain I say considering I paid AU$600 for the iPAQ 2215 a little over 12 months ago.
Speedy lil' buggers these new models - the only gripes is the screen isn't that responsive near the edges and the stylus head is a bit big - doesn't feel as precise as the iPAQ's.

It's a shame though, as the X30's are now old stock in Australia and the X50s are the new replacement. If you head over to Dell Australia, the X30s are not displayed anymore.

Yup. I placed an order on the 26 October and received it 3rd Nov.
My CF Netgear Wifi died somehow and I was getting sick of the sidegrips falling off then I saw the X30 624MHz were still AU$699.
Then on the 25th October I saw they dropped more than $200 and decided it was a good time to buy :)
