I'm going to spend $300 bucks in a new PPC
I currently have an ipaq 3850.

What do you guys think is the best one? dell, hp, asus?

I run medicine programs, listen to music. I also want a good looking PPC and not very big and heavy.

what do you experts recommend?

I was thinking in a dell axim x30 but what do you think?

For that amount of money, I personally think the Dell Axim X30 is the way to go, although you would want to opt for the versions that have integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In short, it's a sweet little device and you get what you pay for.

Unless VGA screens are an issue with you, but with $300, I don't think you would be able to get any VGA devices just yet.

Take a careful browse around eBay ... you can get incredible PDA bargains. Random selection :-

whats the difference between vgas and non vgas screens?

vga = 480x640 screen. Non-vga = 240x360 screen.

These are pixel measurements ... more pixels = higher resolition = more detail and/or more information on screen.

VGA = better.

vga = 480x640 screen. Non-vga = 240x360 screen.

As clarification, I think you mean non-VGA = 240x320. ;)

Cheaper prices. There are some amazing bargains to be had if you look about - especially if you take care to buy a warranted machine ...
