Hi,

I'm pretty new to my pocket pc.
I have an Ipaq 4150 and have been downloading .cab files wirelessly to install. I've played around with trials and them removed them from my pocketpc...

I'm left with an icon in the programs screen that I don't know how to delete....

When tapped it comes up with "cannot find 'program' (or one of its componenets). Make sure the path and filename are corect..."

How do I get rid of the icon as the program has been removed???

thanks

Normally, the uninstaller should remove these.

However, to delete the unwanted shortcuts, open File Explorer and navigate your way to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and from there you can delete the shortcuts you no longer use.

If you uninstall through the Remove Programs setting icon, it should remove the shortcuts for you. If for some reason it doesn't, browse to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and tap and hold > delete to remove the shortcut.
