ftxpbrowser help

OK, I realize that I am not the brightest fellow, but could someone please help me with ftxPBrowser? I have tried a couple different versions and looked on the "support" site to no avail. I open up the program and it gives me the interface, but no browser page. I go to favorites and try to select a link and it does nothing. then I cannot close the favorites menu. I can go to the options page and can change options, but I cannot close the options screen. I can make it go full screen with the little arrow button on the top left and back to normal size, but the red "x" on the top right does nothing.

Please excuse my ignorance. I hope it's something simple.
