Boxwave in my opinion: hands down!!!

The only one that comes close is WriteShield.

What do you like better about the Boxwaves vs. the Writeshields?
I couldn't really tell a difference - I put a Boxwave on my husband's a620BT, and a Writeshield on my X5.
I see they both now have 2 versions, one with anti-glare and another that's "clear".

I found the WriteShield to have a slightly muddy or milky appearance as compared to the Boxwave. Also, the Boxwave seemed to last longer IMO. I've never tried the newer "Crystal" version, but plan to with my next PDA, the X50v (whenever they release their screen protector for it).
Don't get me wrong, I LIKE the WriteShield; I just prefer the Boxwave a little more. I have to admit I've never compared them side-by-side like you have, but some comparative reviews I've seen support that the Boxwave has a slight advantage.

On the other hand, the WriteShields come with the cleanser and cloth, so that's why I chose them initially... Unfortunately, since they're on two different devices I can't accurately compare screen quality. :(
One thing I am worried about with the "Crystal" version of either is that it'll be too glare-y. I work in areas with lots of overhead lights.

I was thinking the same thing. Nothing sucks more than PDA glare, but I might just risk it, because I want to get the most out of that VGA screen.
I wonder if anyone has reviewed the new crystal version of Boxwave. I'll look around and let you know if I find anything.

This is the only Boxwave Crystal review (http://www.everythingtreo.com/reviews_boxwave.html) I could find so far. It says nothing about glare, which is encouraging:
Here's a review (http://www.brighthand.com/article/Protect_Your_Screen) of a bunch of different protectors (written before the crystal version came out). It gave Boxwave an "A" and WriteShield an "A-".

Odd.. I had the opposite experience.
I found both Boxwave and Writeshield to be about equally as milky(don't know about the crystal version though).
I found that the Boxwave was getting marks from using it in certain areas (specifically in a game I like playing). It just seemed to be rubbing down in that area where the writeshield isn't.
I would say they both are good-great quality though.

I'm currently using a Boxwave non-glare version... The old kind, I mean. I've been very happy with it, though I too intend to try the crystal ones when I get the X50V. I have never changed my Boxwave and it isn't showing ANY wear. I am not the heaviest user, but still...
I tried a few other types, including the non-adhesive ones you slip under the screen bezel. I REALLY didn't like those... they didn't fit tight on my 4150 and I got dust under them... Drove me nuts. Adhesive for me!
Oh, speaking of screen protectors... I found a great product for cleaning them. Novus #1 Plastic Polish is awesome for cleaning plastics. I would not use it directly on a PDA or laptop screen, but on screen protectors, or the plastic over the instruments in your car, the plastic window on your stereo... For that kind of stuff it is awesome. (I got turned on to it when I started collecting pinball machines, which have a lot of decorative plastic parts.)
PS thx for that review link.
