View Full Version : new battery options for t-mobile ppc phone
My battery is losing it's ability to hold a charge for more than a day, so I guess it's time to replace. PPCTechs has a kit for $79--are there any other options out there?
Help appreciated.

You could call T-Mobile and see if they'll ship you an out-of-warranty replacement for $75. Tell them the screen is busted - don't know whether they'll replace the unit for a dead battery. I got a replacement unit in September after I accidentally broke the screen. The new one came with WM2003 already installed.
Word of warning, though: The RF performance of the replacement they shipped me pretty much stinks compared to the one I originally had. I'm considering asking them to send me another...
I've read that the replacement program is being/has been discontinued, but it's probably worth a call.

The PPCT battery is also of higher capacity, so it's an upgrade and not just a replacement.
