guys email sprite backup for a free upgrade code for your sprite backup software
now my sprite backup is version 3.1.1 built 2072
ps: it will render your iPAQ backup button useless instead there will be a new Sprite Backup icon
this is the reply from them when i emailed them about my sprite backup problem

hi, how do i actually uninstall spritebackup trial from a hx4700?
i've tried using start->settings->system->remove programs->sprite software sprite backup
but when i tried uninstall it, it will say to me that uninstall unsuccessful cause the program are in use or read-only
tried stopping all programs, no avail, its still in use
\windows\SpriteBackup.dll
when i tried using the iPAQ backup, it will instead show that its sprite backup version 3.0.2 built 1739 evaluation version
i would like it to be as pernormal iPAQ backup instead of sprite backup

Thank you for using our software. Sprite Backup and iPAQ backup are the same application, the only difference are the feature available for both versions. The issue that you are experiencing is caused by a registry key that we replaced after installing Sprite Backup. If you delete this registry key, all information about Sprite Backup will disappear and only the information about iPAQ backup will be displayed. Because you are a version 3.0 user you are eligible for a free upgrade to Sprite Backup. Here is an authorization code that will allow you to upgrade to our latest version.
