What's in the "Storage" Folder?

I just got an Imate (a.k.a. XDA II).

Its running windows mobile 2003 and i just noticed that apart from my Storage Card folder, it also has a folder called "Storage".

It 16 MB I think and there are some empty backup files in it and stuff.

I just wanted to ask if anyone knows what this folder is for? What is its purpose and whats its best use.

This is non-volatile memory and can be used to store your files or can be used to install programs. You can also store backup files on it.

It's much like HP's iPAQ File Store...but just an XDA II version of it.
