I've always been the type of person to have the coolest and
best devices when it comes to computers. Even if I cannot
afford it I'll find away to come up with the money. Anyway,
I currenlty own the ipaq 555x unit and since the 4700 is out.

Is it really worth spending the 600+ dollars for it? Or should
I keep my 555x unit. Besides the screen is it truely cool?

I'm putting this question in your hands if I buy one, because
I cannot make up my mind....

Have a read of my post here. (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33244&highlight=)

I talk about the highs and lows of current WM2003SE devices, and why I think if you're happy with your device, to wait and see what Windows CE 5 has in store for us. By then, PPCs will be bad and angry with all the latest hardware innovations you can think of. :)

My 10cents?

Yes Haven't touched the 55 since the 47 arrived. Screen is nothing short of astonishing.

I jumped ship moons ago on the basis of the Casio E?'s screen, and it would appear I've kinda done the same thing again:)

DJ makes a good, strong, sensible argument - with respect, it sounds like the sort of thing my Dad says - "Wait a year" - but, I too suffer the 'gottahaveit' syndrome, so when 5 arrives, no doubt I'll be spending what I haven't got, again;) (I've never been able to wait 6 weeks letalone a year!)

How does that 'No Fear' T-Shirt go? "Most toys wins?" :D
