I've really started getting into RSS...
Is there a good reader for PPC 2003se.
None seem to work with my PPC in landscape mode and I am getting tired of flipping when I link to the webpage.
Also a good view with nesting of subjects or sources would be nice.

PocketRSS is about to be upgraded to version 2 (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=291504&sid=318ce56907127c9ef56a08087f19335c) which will be a free upgrade.
You could also look at Egress (http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=reviews&id=360), or PocketFeed (http://www.furrygoat.com/Software.aspx), although development seems to have stalled on that one.
Alternatively try mobilerss (http://www.mobilerss.net/index.php) which is a web-based solution.
Unfortunately none of these really do it for me, so I am looking forward to seeing some other options/upgrades.

I like free stuff. I admit it. And when it comes to RSS you can a great reader for FREE! And when you can get all this for free then why wouldn't you?
RSS Sync currently boasts the following features:
* Reads all known versions of RSS / RDF / Atom
* Imports OPML files
* Checks HTTP E-tag and Modified Date for optimal download performance
* Viewer with adjustable ClearType™ and font-size settings
* Easy to use interface with embedded web-browser
* Maintains a local database of all headlines to ensure integrity
Yay free!

Egress does it for me. Development is on going, the author is top class with support. Love it!
So much so I don't really bother with rss on my desktop any more.

RSS Sync currently boasts the following features:
It also boasts one seriously undesirable feature - it operates exclusively thru Activesync. The less anything on my iPaq has to do with AS the better. Plus I don't want to have to rely on a connection to a desktop to update my feeds. I want to do it on the run from hotspots, over GPRS...

custom avantgo channel with mobilerss account is my solution. Easy to use and functionally reasonable :)

I'll second Egress. It works well, has a very good today plug-in, works fine in landscape mode and, as mentioned, the author actively upgrades the program and solicits feedback.
Another vote for Egress here - I asked for an article lock function and in the next release it was there

Wow. I need to take another look at Egress. That is one feature I miss terribly in PocketRSS (I have it in HandRSS on my T3).

Why use RSS at all? I just use a browser. I feel like I am missing out. :)

I also concur with Egress.
With only 1 or 2 quirks, its a great app.
I tried some of the freeware RSS readers, then tried a demo of Egress. It's great. There are lots of options so that you can set it up how you like and you can read it one-handed using the control pad of your Pocket PC to navigate around. Give the demo a try (it's available at Handango).

If you're into excellent customer service, go for Egress. :D
