Is there a limit on the number of items that are shown as being available?

I have 12 listed in the Today Settings, and am using 5, including Battery Bar. When I upgraded Cash Organiser from 5.08 to 5.09 today, the Cash Organiser Today plugin automatically appeared on the Today screen, displacing Battery Bar, which had then vanished totally from the Item list, although Program Bar was still showing.

Any ideas?

Yes there is a limit on the number of items that you can have on the today screen.

I found out last wek when i installed a lot of applications and suddenly my inbox disappeared (not only from the today screen but also from the list of today screem items).

Apparently the limit is 12 or 13. And from what i was told, the first one to disappear is the inbox. I dont kno why it is, maybe a coincidence, but anyway.

If you're running out of room for Today Plug-ins, you may want to give Dashboard (http://www.snoopsoft.com/dashboard/index.html)a try - it basically gives you a few extra Today screens to put stuff on.
