View Full Version : ActiveSync problem, components not installed???

I've seen several instances of this across the Internet, but can't find a solution. I have a partnership with my desktop PC and my DELL Axim X30. I do not want to use syncronization with the server. Synchronizing the Inbox and Favorites work fine, but calendar, tasks, and contacts say they are "Not Installed."

I have tried both soft and hard resets of the device, deleting the partnership and starting over, uninstalling and reinstalling ActiveSync, etc. etc. etc. It has been very frustrating.

Any ideas?

Try uninstalling/reinstalling Outlook.

If you have not already tried reinstalling Outlook, you could try to build a new clean Outlook profile. This can be done from the mail applet in the control panel.
