Please Submit News!

I'm glad to say that you, our loyal readers, are a fantastic and eager community who loves to share new happenings in the handheld and Pocket PC world. I often see new threads in the forums discussing various newsbits, and that's great -- but, very often, no one actually tells <i>us</i> about these happenings, and as such they don't get posted to the frontpage. Here's where you can come in.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/parekh/misc/SubmitNews.gif" /><br /><br />There's a Submit News link (blown up here for illustration purposes) at the top of every page on PPCT. If you hear about something hot or interesting, click the link and feel free to pass it along to us. While we don't post on everything, we do post on a lot of stuff, and we always appreciate every submission that people send us.

Well, I think some people chose to post instead of submit news because they don't know if important enough to be featured on PPCT. Maybe there should be a News forum where members can post news that may not make it to the homepage. If it's good enough, someone can move it to the right folder or post a news item and link to the old thread. That's what happens at Neowin.net (http://www.neowin.net) with the Back Page News (http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showforum=8) forum.
