Sync and Green light-Help please

Hello!
I am trying to solve some problems with my 3850 but I don't seem to have much luck.
When I synchronize with my PC with ActiveSync the green light (alarm light) starts flashing and it doesn't stop until I soft reset my ppc.
Another issue is that whenever I click on the New button on Today screen the ppc seems to be crashing. I suppose that the latter might have something to do with the memory? I need to buy a SD card ASAP.

Well, you can check the state of your memory by going into Start, Settings, System, Memory.

Apart from that, this is a weird error. Did you recently install any software to trigger this problem or somesuch? As a worst-case scenario, a hard-reset might cure your problem, but it'll erase the data on the device and would need a re-sync or restore.
