As it's been said... don't throw away your dedicated digital camera just yet! But IMHO this device shoots the best PPC photos yet. Getting there wait a few more years... 3mp CCD!

BTW... the above pictures are unedited and very large. To see the whole image without having to scroll, you need to view at 1600X1200 resolution. I haven't tried to see how these would look on a 4x6 print... but probably not to bad except for the normal cmos stuff... cant wait for something better... CCD! But so far this is the best that I've seen in a PPC.

Any thoughts?

Urm, how can the pics be 1600by1200 if the camera on the Ipaq is only 1.3mp.

1600by1200 is just about 2mp

They are not... they're 1280x960 which is too big to be seen on a monitor set to 1280x1024 or less inside of the PPCT forum.

I can assure you that these pics are unedited and original. Maybe other rx3715 owners could post theirs as well.

It seems that the service I use to host my images (www.photobucket.com) is having server problems today so it's possible that the images aren't displaying for some people... like me!

Ah ok, I shouldve seen that if I checked the properties, thanks for the explanation.

I could see them earlier but not at the moment.

I bought one earlier today.
Havent used the camera yet though and im about to leave tommorow for 12 days to Japan so heh, maybe once im back.

I think you will like the cam in the 3700... IMHO, it's the best one yet!

Make sure you bring a good size sd card. The 1.3mp eats up the internal memory fast!

Have a 1 gig sd card, as for cam I have a 5mp digicam so I think I will be fine either way
