e800-any way to adjust the taskbar size in real VGA on FE?

I was just wondering if there was any way to adjust the taskbar size in real VGA on FE. I like the look of SE with pixel doubling, but cant stand how slow everything else is. I don't mind real VGA, but I would like to make the start menu bar and task tray a little larger - somewhere between the VGA size and the QVGA size.
Is there anything out that can do this? I don't mind hacking the registry if I know what to change.

I haven't seen any. :( You might want to poke around programs like Tweaks2k2, but to the best of my knowledge the taskbar stays small.
