It combines a wall charger and car charger into one unit. All you need is a USB-based sync 'n charge cable to connect to the VersaCharger. Cool! :D

This was perfect timing. I was looking at getting a USB charger for my various devices. Having a car adapter with it is great.

Very cool indeed. Anytime you end up with one less thing to carry all the better in my book.

This is cool. I need one of these and a cable for my Pocket PC and for my cell phone.

Nice. I'm looking for one that I can charge using a 9-volt battery. It would have to have a 22-pin connector. Does such a thing exist?

Oh, yes.

I just went and ordered one of these. They also have sync cables (either 5 ft. regular cable or 3ft. retractable cable) for both my PDA and my cell phone. This is so cool.

Great idea, until i spotted the "VersaCharger works in any country across the globe" statement is flawed - will not fit UK plug - at least not without an adapter....
mind you, I guess next best thing is to go for the "european" version then plug it into a shaver socket in the UK......

Yeah - I went straight to thier site looking for a cable for my Nextel. But no luck. I did buy the adapter though since it'll really save space for me. Right now I have to carry both a wall adapter and a car adapter which is a hassle. Now I'll only have one. Now if I could find a cable for my Nextel. I had a synch cable but I couldn't charge the phone with it :?

Ok Now here is a question I need answered. Does anyone know if there is an adapter to let two devices use only one usb charger port?

I would love to use this device and have TWO things charging at the same time from this one device.

Anyone know??

My Fortuna Clip-On BT GPS comes with an adaptor exactly you described. It has a usb port on one end and ipaq charging jack and GPS charging plug on the other end. The package also includes a wall adaptor as well as car adaptor for the usb charging, which I think can be replaced with versacharger. So for your question, there is a solution you described, but I haven't seen one available outside of the Fortuna one. By the way, if you haven't got a GPS solution yet, this might be a good time to consider getting one. :)

Well I think I am going to try this little trick.

Get the usb charger cables for both devices (making sure that each charger is able to charge the items, not just sync it with a pc) and then get a mini usb 4 port hub that is bus powered so that it doesn't need a wall charger to work, and then hook everything up.

Hopefully it will work :)

I will post my results.

Not necessarily a flawed statement. All accessories I've ever seen that supports world-wide voltage will advertise itself being compatible across the globe... this device would get huge if it had to support every plug-type across the globe.

That being said, I agree that this device doesn't save you that much if you have to carry around an adaptor.

You can try something like a USB charge cable (PUC1) from Pc-mobile www.pc-mobile.com, and their DC Y Cable, (PPY2). The DC connectors are the same ones that are on iPaq and Axim power cables. The ones that plug into the adapters. Also fits my Socket GPS and Delorme Blue Logger.
