J. Alan Hartman, our resident Content Editor at KnowBetter.com (http://www.knowbetter.com), is also a theatrical stage manager. This Friday, he'll be leaving to go on tour through the end of the year. His show is made up of five classic literary short stories that will be presented to middle and high school students across the country...maybe even in YOUR town!
To celebrate the upcoming tour, we're looking for Reading List titles based around the titles in his show. Be creative! If you've got a title suggestion that might fit, submit it...you never know if it will be selected! For example, for “An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge,” you might want to recommend titles about or by Ambrose Bierce, 'happenings', owls, creeks, bridges, etc.. Be sure to have your recommendations in to [email protected] at least a week before the publication date of the list. Recommendations aren't just limited to authors and publishers...we'll welcome recommendations from everyone!

September 27th: “The Fall Of The House Of Usher” by Edgar Alan Poe
October 4th: “An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge” by Ambrose Bierce
October 11th: “The Mouse” by Saki
October 18th: “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell
October 25th: Witches, Ghosts, Lawyers And Other Ghouls (Halloween)
November 1st: “The Ransom Of Red Chief” by O. Henry
