My h1945 always shows the remaining life of the backup battery as 0%...
I gave the unit an initial charge of 4 hours, but some people say it has to take an overnight charge. The device is charging for 10 hours but nothing changed. I'm leaving it overnight, but I think it won't make any difference...
What should I do? I have already performed a hard reset. Any ideas?
If the battery is really dead, does the warranty cover such problem?
If it doesn't, what should I do? Is it really important?

It's not cool to look at the device and always see the 0%...

Thanks.

Yes the warranty would cover that. Yes it's important.

If you wonder if it's just the display reading wrong you could put in your name in the owner screen, turn the unit off, pull the main battery and count to 15. Put it back, turn it on, and if it puts you through the initial startup stuff and your name is gone, the backup battery isn't working.

Even if it is working, you'll never feel sure. I'd get it replaced. The unit, not the battery.
