Version 5.55 of Stocks and Weather Today has just been released.

Due to requests from our users, we have added an animated hurricane icon. In addition, we have enhanced some of the more common weather icons.

Below are the enhanced icons.

Oh, one other thing. We will be releasing another version some time in the next couple of weeks. While we are not ready to disclose what the enhancement is in the new version, we think hardcore weather junkies will like it :mrgreen:. The enhancement was put in directly from requests of our existing users.

If you are not running at least version 5.54 you should upgrade to 5.55 because 5.54 supports the changes NOAA recently made to their web pages. If you are not running 5.54 then you may not get forecast information for some US cities. You should have also received a screen pop on your Pocket PC informing you of this upgrade.

The upgrade to version 5.55 is free to all registered users. :lol:

your site has been down the last few days (at least since your post)--not only does it not load for me, but the images don't show up in your announcement. is it just me, or is something down? i did just go to handango and re-download the software but was curious as to what the images in your post look like. :)

Well, that is strange. I don't think our site is (or has been down).

Has anyone else also had problems seeing the icons in the original post or had truouble getting to our site?

Can you post some screenshots of the actual guts of the program, ie the satellite weather maps, detailed forecasts etc, rather than just the Today screen plugin, because for the life of my I can't find any anywhere, no reviews, nothing.

Do a search on Pocket PC Thoughts. Stocks and Weather Today is one of the popular plug in. There are many comments about this nifty program.

Yes, comments, text etc I can find in abundance. I would like screenshots...

Screesnhots (good ones) are vital to my own personal review process. A developer who does not provide them is a real turn-off for me usually...
