i am not really high tech person and did not do a search on this topic...
my question is why all ppc did not come with solar cell power which allow us to recharge on the fly? or at least maintain the power???

Many reasons:
1. Increase price
2. Increase weight
3. Warrenty on something like that
4. Most people wouldn't use it
5. Increases the geek factor tremendously (I know, I know, some people like that, but most dont ;))
I believe there are a few companies who sell add-ons that do offer solar power for Pocket PCs. The most recent one that comes to mind is the solar-powered Version Three.0 SCOTTeVEST (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=282699).

I have a great solar charger that I used with my iPAQ, but have not changed the tip to fit my Axim. If you like, I can get you the name of the manufacturer -- it works well and is perfect for beach vacations! 8)

You can purchase solar chargers to re-charge small devices such as your handheld. I use the iSun on a daily basis to recharge my Toshiba e805, a Dell Axim and a Dell DJ. I wrote up a brief overview of the unit here (http://www.pocketpctools.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid2=1249).

i do know about all of these external add on.. but my question is why i do not see the integrated version on ppc.
is that due to power requirement etc?
a simple solution not to add up the size is to have as following:
use the th55 for example since it has the face cover. the front face cover can be equipped with solar cell and this can connect to the main power for maintain the charge. when it is flip up, it is still charging. so virtually there is no issue on the need of reducing the size of screen to compensate the solar cell. If clamshell can be done, surely enough the concept can be materialize.
This will ensure we got our ppc power stay on whenever. the internal battery only strain when there is no sun light...
how about this concept?

How about this concept?
The concept seems fine the only problem is the added cost and weight to the PPC.

It sounds like a great PDA accessory, but I don't see any reason that something like that should be included in PDAs out of the box. Companies would just loose too much money.
