I asked this same question about a year and a half ago, but alot has changed since then. I would like to know what kind of security tools are out there for the PPC. I’ve done Google searches but don’t get as good of results as just asking folks who have had PPCs for awhile. Some of the kinds of tools I’m looking for are:
1. Port scanners/OS detectors (wish there was a port of nmap)
2. freeware ssh client.
3. sniffer (saw another thread elsewhere about this, but most of the sniffers seem to be hardware brand dependent).
4. Ping sweepers.
5. Bruteforce tools.
I do some security analysis at work and would love to be able to do some of these things from my Axim. I’d prefer freeware, but could go for cheapware instead. I've made a site about what you can do with a Zaurus ( http://irongeek.com/i.php?submenu=zaurus/zaurusheader&page=zaurus/zaurusmain ) now I want to do one for PPC.
