Just wondering if I were to buy a SDIO WiFi card, would it work with the E310? The unit has an SD slot but is that the same as SDIO?

Nope it wont work.
Not SDIO

Almost all machines now have SDIO and people were pretty angry when they found out that the e310 was not.
