I've actually broken 2,000 points, but can't find the screenshot anymore.

EDIT: Oops. I re-read your post and saw you wanted "Standard" scores. I've only been able to get scores like this on MegaShift mode.

I average about 600. Once I got up to 1410. That was months ago. Months. I had not gotten anywhere close to that score since.

my ex girl friend was addicted to the game, i did a soft reset after we broke up, so i cant remember the highest score but i remember that she had avarage of 600-700 points per game

It's a great time killer especially on subway rides and in between meetings (and occasionally through them!! :devilboy: ) It's just addictive! Like trying to collapse a house of cards in just the right order!! Of course I haven't proven to be very good at it. My HS is only about 370. :cry:

I own gamebox gems, so i've always played that one. Now I need to try it and see what type of score I can get...

Edit: First time I played it, got a score of 466. I have played other games like this before though. :mrgreen:

I was going to say, MegaShift is the way to go. I got 1660 today on MegaShift while sitting in my homebound train. ;) The key (in MegaShift, which is by far the most fun IMHO) is to build large clumps and destroy the rest of the board if you have to -- each additional ball adds a lot of points. I made a few mistakes -- otherwise, I'd have crossed 1700.

(Oh, and I played Standard for about 2 minutes before switching. ;))

Agreed. At the start of each game, I'll look at the board for a few seconds and estimate which color ball has the largest presence on the board. That color will then become "off limits" for the game. My goal then is to eliminate as many of the other colors as possible while leaving the "majority" color alone as much as possible. I also try to get as many of the majority color on the right side and hold off eliminating them as long as possible; if I can get some more to slide in from the left and join up with the existing ones, so much the better! :)
