PQI 1GB SD Secure Digital Memory Card
$169.99 $99.49 On Sale!

Condition: New

Warranty: 90 Days

Product Description: Secure Digital Cards are a memory device that offers an incredible combination of high storage capacity (currently available up to 1GB); fast data transfer rates, great flexibility, and excellent security. All this in a memory card roughly the size of a postage stamp!

Based on non-volatile memory components and encased in a protective molding, they do not require power to retain the information stored in them. SD cards are based on solid-state components that have no moving parts to skip or break down. This indeed makes them highly reliable!

Fit into popular camcorders, digital cameras, PDA's, and cellular phones that can utilize PQI's Secure Digital Cards.

I bought one from newegg and it works great - it's waaaay faster than sandisk (512mb) and was even faster than a kingmax 60x that I bought.

Damn, so close to affordable, and with no stupid US only rebate, but they only ship inside the US, and only accept US CC's

Bummer :(

Thats after a mail-in rebate (although even at $49.99 its not too bad a price.).

To illustrate my pain, take a look at these prices from an Expansys brochure I just received. I added the Price in Dollars column myself in PSP.

What kind of reputation does PQI have? I will NEVER buy sandisk after having so much trouble with them, but I have had great luck with Kingston and Toshiba memory.

Sigh, what am I going to do with my 512mb SD card now?
