Just recently, my PC started doing something strange. As soon as I log in, the C:/Documents and Settings/<username> folder opens. This also happens when I sync my Pocket PC.

I've run AdAware and anti virus, but it still happens. There's nothing in the startup folder nor in the startup services that I can find.

Anyone know why and how to stop it? :(

Although there was a double entry, the problem still exists, even after reboot. What's really strange is that it happens on 2 of the 3 accounts on our PC.

Have you checked the Startup folder for the All Users under documents and settings? That could do it too.

I checked the all users folder, looked in MSConfig for possible bad startup programs, and even checked all the services.

Here's another odd aspect. The Documents and Seetings/<username> folder also opens when I put my iPaq in the cradle and AS starts. Maybe I should reload ActiveStync.

BTW, thanks for helping. :D
