I just changed jobs within my company. This new job is about 15 minutes of work followed by an hour of nothing. I have Atomic cannon (demo) and monopoly, but have grown tired of those.
im looking for some sort of highly recommended game.
thanks!

Kevtris (Tetris clone) - it's free. A lot of people recommend it.
Can be found at http://www.freewareppc.com
Fade is also a great game- not cheap but worth it.

I'd recommend several different games from PDAMill (www.pdamill.com) -- great graphics, addictive gameplay, really quite well-done. I've spent many hours on them.

Worms World Party. It's good if you need to fry some worms. Especially after a hectic day at work. :multi:

NetHack (http://www.nethack.org/v343/ports/download-wince.html)

Download some good eBooks and do some reading. Not only is it a better use of your time, but in a short time you'll probably enjoy reading more than playing computer games.

I play Bejeweled (from Astraware) all the time. I also have a freecell game from somewhere, and the included Jawbreaker game (on WM2003) can be fun at times.

I'd reccommend Age of Empires if you like that game style, it works really well on the PPC, graphics are great, AI is pretty darn good, and there are a LOT of missions, plus random maps/scenarios. I can play it for hours straight when I'm bored.

I need games that I can start quickly and quit just as quickly...
This includes:
All-in Hold 'em Poker
Hot Death Uno
Jawbreaker
Snails (even though I hate putting that one down)
Minesweeper (yes I know...but the classics never die)
That and a good e-book or two should do nicely ;)

It's a bit expensive, but Handmark's Trivial Pursuit has become my favorite. You can play it in normal board-game mode or flash mode, in which you answer individual questions just to see how many you can get right. I've played it a LOT and there are still tons of questions I've never heard.

I like RPGs and right now, Legacy is the hottest one out there. Someone else recommended FADE. I just finished playing FADE and also highly recommend it. It makes you think because there are a lot of puzzles to solve. Finally, although they're old, you might find Everquest fun to play and there are three episodes, which should keep you occupied for many hours.

The problem with fade is that you could, and most likely will, get stuck for a few days. The first puzzle took me a week to complete. (Where the hell are my ******* PILLS?!?!?!?!?!

That wasn't nearly as bad as trying to get the bronze door open in the pony-tailed man's apartment. That took me forever and I finally had to resort to a cheat sheet because I had no idea that there were laser beams that had to be diverted by a pole with two mirrors attached to them.
