Pocket RAR. Head on down to http://www.rarlab.com and download the program. It's from the creators of WinRAR and best of all, it's free.

Xacrett CE also supports RAR as well as many other formats.

It there's an ebook inside that .rar file then uBook can read the book straight from within the .rar file. No need to open the .rar at all.

I thought ubook supported zip files, not rar files. I'll just do a little test.... [sound of keys and mouse clicking] Nope, you can't even see rar files in "explorer". Zips are ok, though. (this is for PC and PPC ubook, v0.8o)

/me puffs up his chest... "Are you telling me I'm wrong?!?!?"

Hmm, that is *so* odd. I know I used to compile RARs for uBook because it would only go up to something like rar2.6. *But*, now you seem to be correct. Again, odd. I'll dig through my uBook CAB archive and see if the older versions supported this.

Thanks!

I'd be surprised if ubook ever did support rar format (though I'd be very happy if it were ever added). It's not the sort of feature that would be added then removed in a later version.
