You can copy, move or delete files, create folders, run programs with arguments and search for files or folders."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.resco-net.com/images/explorer/explore_7.png" /><br /><br />Resco Explorer 2003 is one of the most full-featured file explorers on the market today - it offers file encryption, zip compression, a built-in file viewer, a registry editor, and a network browser. I've used this application before and it's very powerful - their latest update adds FTP support, sending files via Bluetooth, and drag 'n drop support. The normal price is $24.95, but the 20% off sale saves you $4.99 USD, for a final price of $19.96. If you're looking for a powerful file explorer, check out Resco's Explorer 2003.

To clarify - that is the Loox 610 (and 600 I think) released by Fujitsu Asia Pacific - and not the as released by Fujitsu-Siemens (which had a different set of bundled software).

Where is the FTP client add-in? I've registered it using the promotional code (UK residents get charged VAT by the way :( ) and I can't find any mention of FTP at all, either in the manual or the application.
I'm running version 5.10.

I've mailed Resco of course, but thought I'd mail here too as I'm probably overlooking something obvious!

Jason, the above link didn't work for me, it just showed a blank page. I had to strip out the associate ID to see the product. Hopefully the fact I used a PPCT promotional code means you still get the credit.

How strange - the URL works for me (http://tinyurl.com/64buh) (although a stupid phpBB bug forced me to use TinyURL here). The associated ID code isn't actually my affiliate code - it's a tracking code PocketGear is using to see how well this advertising campaign does. You had to strip that out (associateid=612) in order for the order to work? How strange...did anyone else have that problem?

The link is working now so I'm confused too. When it failed the first time I hit refresh a few times, then went to the main site to see if it was down (it wasn't). Then I tried the URL again (it still failed), and finally stripped out "associateid=612" and it worked.

As the link works fine for me now it was perhaps just an unfortunate timing problem.

I still don't seem to have a response from Resco :(
Loads of people on here must have this software - can anybody confirm it supports FTP please?

Thanks,

Yes, it does...

The FTP add in is a seperate install (part of the process when you install using the desktop .exe), it is not in the cab file. How did you install?

Building on Steve's confirmation and instructions for installation onto your Pocket PC, if you're having trouble finding it on the device, it should be embedded within the browser itself, and not as a stand-alone component in the Programs menu. Hope that made sense. :)

Aha, that explains it then, I used the cab file.

Thanks!
