View Full Version : How do I determine which version of Reader I have?

I have a Samsung SPH-i700, which came with Windows PPC 2002 and the old version of Reader in ROM. I quickly installed Reader 2.2.3. I just upgraded the OS to WM2003. The upgrade instructions state that all software must be re-installed after the upgrade. Do I have to re-install 2.2.3, or is Reader 2.2.3 part of the WM2003 OS?

I tried to find the version number using the MS standard Help->About, but Help opens the eBook help manual, which does not tell me the version number. [I didn't page through all 140 pages, I admit; I did a search for the word "version."]

Of course, I could always start reading "Pocket PC Magazine," and see how long before Reader slows to a crawl!

Go to Page 3 of MSReader Settings on the newer versions.

Thank you, jwhayn! Apparently Reader version 2.2.3 was included as part of the upgrade to WM2003.
