Hi, I hope someone can help me figure this out...
At office we use a 802.11b Wireless LAN, there both Laptop and iPaq h4150 (built-in BT and Wireless adapters) connect wonderfully. At home I still use dial-up to get into the internet. The laptop is the "gateway", as a second machine, a G4 Mac, connects and gains access through Ethernet ports connected directly between both. Internet use at home is not really demanding, just email and browser, not dowloading or so... I'm trying to share the internet connection with the iPaq activating the Wireless built-in adapter in the Laptop (ad-hoc wireless connection), the PPC finds the network (evern shows good reception), but it won't connect to the internet neither would Sync. I've tried several combinations of Wireless settings in both laptop and PPC; now I really need some ideas for making this work, have anyone done such thing? Please help.
