As many of you are probably aware, KnowBetter.com produces a series of Reading Lists on a variety of subjects. The idea is to generate interest in a wide spectrum of topics, and show readers the many ebooks on those topics that are available to them. The list is usually a combination of independent publishers and larger publishers. These lists have been incredibly popular, and their popularity seems to grow with each new list. We've reached 1000 hits for every single reading list we've published, which can translate into serious sales for you!

However, we need your help. Publishers 'KnowBetter' than we do their catalogs of titles, and we could really use your input in generating these lists.

Below is a list of upcoming Reading List topics. If you have titles that fit the theme, please email us the title and author and we will try and add it to our list. Those titles that are selected will receive our "KnowBetter.com Reading List Selection" button to feature on their website.

Be creative! You may think you don't have a title for a particular list, but we like to have a lot of fun with these. There's lots of ways to fit a title or plotline into a list. For example, "Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals" can be titles about the Olympics, about events at the Olympics, about medals, ebooks with those colors in the title, etc. HAVE FUN WITH THESE! The whole idea is for the list to not be your typically stuffy list. Children's stories are always welcome, and all formats are fine.

To see our past lists, please visit:

and choose "Reading Lists" from under the "Ebooks" tab at the top.

Here is the list of upcoming topics. Please note that we must receive your information at least a week before the publishing of the list (with the exception of the "Bronze, Silver and Gold"):

August 16th: Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals (SORRY...THIS IS NOW CLOSED)
August 23rd: Democrats, Republicans And Other Parties (yep...birthday parties too!)
August 30th: Labor Day (and that can be pregnancy labor too!)
September 6th: Grandparents' Day
September 13th: Welcome To Parent/Teacher Night
September 20th: Apples, Honey and a Sweet New Year (celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year)

Be sure to include a blurb of each book you submit, as well as the Reading List for which it should be considered. Also, if you've previously been selected for a list and have it mentioned on your site, check your links. We recently moved servers so the links have changed.

Thanks ahead of time for your input, and we hope to be able to feature many of your titles! Be sure to tell other authors about the Lists!

Best,
Jay Hartman
