I'm looking to buy the following to get me set up using GPS (in the US):

iPaq 2215 - I need the CF slot (if anyone has any recommendations on a similarly priced devices, let me know). Seems to be a fairly powerful device, doesn't have a lot of features I won't use, etc. Battery life could be a little better, but I can always charge it.

Fortuna Clip On receiver - I've read this is a pretty good unit. Your thoughts?

Mapopolis or Routis software - anyone have a recommendation on which?

Now, I doubt it's possible, but can I fit the entire US on a 1GB CF card? If not, I guess I'll have to buy another (CF is cheaper than SD, that's why I need the CF slot :) )

I'll be using the items mainly in an "urban jungle" setting and for navigating myself to POIs (m/hotels, places to eat, etc). Will Mapoplis or Routis suit me well? From what I understand, NavTeq is a pretty good source for maps and both software titles are powered by NT maps.

Thanks for taking the time to read and answer.
