Is the 1800mAh battery larger then the standard battery?

I am planning to buy the RhinoSkin Hard Case for Axim X30 [$35 ], however I was wondering, will the X30 1800mAh Battery be in the way?

I have a similar case for my X5, and it won't work with the extended battery because of the batteries additional thickness.

If memory serves me correctly the 1800mAh battery does still out from the back and will not fit in a hardcase.

I can tell you with certainty that the 1800mAh battery will not fit the Rhinoskin case. We are the distributor for Mugen Power and we have a 2000mAh battery that is 1mm thicker than Dell's 1800mAh and it diesn;t fit either.

If you are looking for a larger capacity battery that will fit the Rhinoskin, our 1100mAh battery fits, but it is tight and may require a small modification to the Rhinoskin case to get it to fit nicely. But, you get a larger capacity battery than the standard 950mAh Dell battery.
