Just my name at the moment. I may think of something more creative for my next one. ;)
For my computers at work I use a Blake's 7 (http://www.hermit.org/Blakes7/) (British sci-fi show 1978-1981) theme. Mainly the names of the evil characters at the moment. I mean, how could a B7 fan RESIST calling the server Servalan (http://www.waveney.demon.co.uk/whoswho/Servalan.jpeg) (Serve-a-LAN... get it?) It's SO perfect.
Yes, I am easily entertained.
I also have Travis (http://www.waveney.demon.co.uk/whoswho/Trav1.jpeg), and my laptop is, of course, Orac (http://www.waveney.demon.co.uk/whoswho/Orac.jpeg).

I name my computers/PDAs after Greek gods/mythical figures.
My 1910 was named Hermes - the messenger of the gods, appropriate due to mobility and such.
My 4150 is called Achilles. Well, I thought of the soft-reset hole as being the "Achilles heel" of the device. I just liked the character in the Illiad somewhat as well.
My system at home is called well, Zeus - since it's the master of all.
Next PDA will likely be Odysseus.

My PDA is Wigglet
My PC is Wiggy, my laptop is Wiggo, and my server was Wigrig before its hard drive imploded upon itself. (See a pattern?)
I'm not sure what I'll name my next PDA... it will only be Wigglet 2 if it's a new HP, which is unsure right now.

Sniff so many childhood memories flooding back. Great use of Servalan you never want to mess with her she was so scary.

I had a hard drive made that noise. :?
PS Bring me .. a shrubbery. Or none shall pass. One that looks nice and not too expensive.
I'll stop now. I think I know the whole script. We're knights of the round table.
Right this is silly very silly indeed and a bit suspect I think

Fools! Worried about the name of a PDA....
Instead, worry about this!!
What... is your name?
What... is your quest?
What is the airspeed velocity of a fully laden sparrow?

Given my PDA is about a week old, it currently is called "Toy" and very soon shall be called " my organised life".
The desktop is called CAT-PISS. .... My friend who built this desktop was making a comment on the fate of the previous desktop.. *sigh*

when i got my first desktop computer years ago, i gave him the name Ali.
then years have past, changed a couple of computers, and still the name is Ali. Last year when i got my ipaq 2215 i found a good name for it: AliCE ! what a clever idea, after that i gave the name AliM to my mobile phone.
the M in AliM stands for mobile

All of my computers on my LAN are named after moons in the solar system. :D
I can get some pretty cool names out of that.

At home, I also have Fozzie, Scooter, Beaker and Kermit.
Interestingly, I've named a 30Gb partition on Kermit as "Sylvia". The other partitions are called "Trevor" and "Simon" [those two were comedy characters on some Saturday morning show, Sylvia was a pseudonym I once used to be allowed to sing at karaoke in Barbados many years ago as the guy running it was sick of me taking over all the time and banned me 8O ]
Wow. I sound like some kinda loon 8O :D

The network name of my PocketPC (I guess that's the device name also...) is Nox. My computers are named after species in the Stargate universe.
